Monster Island, The Asylum's 2019 mockbuster released at the same time that Godzilla: King of the Monsters was released, is about an Island called Monster Island where a Monster may be found; the Monster is, if your will, the island itself.


Because this film is about an asylum, (first published) it has a similar budget to a large kid’s meal. The film uses it lightly, focusing on a handful human characters and filming all the big stars' sequences at one location during lunch. However, let's not forget that this is a kaiju film, so maybe The Asylum will not do a terrible job?
